How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want each homeowner who reaches Cardbank Septic to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

Topics We Want to Hear About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Cardbank Septic
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Issue Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own quotes, prices, work, and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your septic system, sewer line, or plumbing, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

Please still let us know. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Keep in mind that Cardbank Septic cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

How to Send Your Complaint

Email contact@cardbank.rest and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The number you called or the form you used, if you recall
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may be able to help too.
